Grenen
Two seas that caress each other when the breezes are gentle, but which seethe with rage when a storm hits the area, are a natural phenomenon on a world-class scale - just like the migrating dunes that slowly move towards Kattegat under the influence of the westerly winds.
Blue Flag beachesBeaches at which a blue flag flies, are kept completely clean of rubbish and have facilities such as toilets, emergency telephone, first-aid box and life-saving equipment.
Beach numbers
Small green signs with beach numbers have been set up where a road or a path goes down to the beach. In the event of bathing accidents, for example, these signs enable you to know exactly where on the beach you are. Make a note of the number. The rescue crew will quickly be able to find the right place on the beach when the number is given to the emergency dispatch centre.
