In Bindesbøll's famous old fish warehouse at the harbour there are several fish restaurants and small eateries with outdoor service offering fish dishes prepared from the day's catch of fish and shellfish.

In the Bindesbøll buildings you'll also find several fishmongers' offering an extensive range of fresh fish, smoked products and various seafood delicacies.

 

The choice of places to eat ranges from the simple but tasty meal to the major culinary experience and includes gourmet restaurants, pizza parlours, cafés and small cosy eateries. There's something to suit every taste and every pocket.

Skagen Bryghus

Skagen Bryghus offers exciting local types of beer from the new brewery.

There are guided tours, including beer tasting, several times a week in the brewery, tapping plant and beer cellar.

The history of the brewery will be told, as well as a description of how to brew beer. 

The brewery's beer can either be enjoyed in the brewery or can be bought in selected shops or drunk at some of the town's restaurants and cafés.

Skagen Ham

One of the finest quality products from Slagter Munch butcher's is a smoked and air-dried ham, which in terms of quality rivals that of the well-known southern European hams.

The ham is salted with sea salt and seasoned with bay leaves, fennel and juniper. The ham is 14 months "underway" before it's ready to sell.
