Craftsmen in the countryside

You will find a big variety of craftsmen in the Land of Light with everything from glass over ceremics and paintings. Many of them are especially during the summer holidays open with workshops where you are welcome to watch the artist work and maybe talk to him about the process.

Museums in the Land of Light

Feel the history or see the works of the great artists. At the museums in the Land of Light you find art of the Skagen painters and many other artists who found inspiration in the very special light at the top of Denmark.

You will also find historic buildings and museums with guided tours and exhibitions all summer. During the summer vacation you will find special events for children and adults building on the exhibitions and many of the guides are spell-binding storytellers giving the historical facts a personal touch.
