Leisure centres - Tropical and subtropical Fun leisure centres – some of them developed around a particular theme - can be found at the major holiday resort centres and hotels. Even though you might not be staying at the hotel or resort centre in question, you can always pay an admission charge to use the tropical or subtropical bathing facilities, which have plenty of activities for the whole family. These leisure centres vary greatly from place to place, but they all have children's pools or paddling pools for small children and infants, and fun water chutes and other activities catering for all age groups.

If you're feeling peckish …
If, after several hours of activity in the water, you begin to feel thirsty or hungry, several swimming baths and leisure centres have small cafés that sell refreshments and snacks.
Safety
At swimming baths and leisure complexes there are always qualified lifesavers present who are able to intervene if a dangerous situation should occur. These lifesavers minimise the risk of accidents, but cannot guarantee the safety of all guests. Children must therefore always be accompanied by an adult when at swimming baths and leisure centres.
